The History | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Tin Cup Tour was founded in November 2011 by Matt Wolach, and included 15 other Founding Members. After competing in another local golf league along with other Tin Cup Tour Founding Members Mike Tucker, Patrick Sheehan, and Paul Cerda, the guys enjoyed the competition, but didn't know many of the other players in the league. Thus, they decided to form their own league, filled with guys who enjoyed golf and cameraderie. The Tin Cup Tour was born, with 2012 being the innaugural season. Several great traditions were born in the first year, including Pink Ball, the gold jacket to the winner, and the Champions Dinner Other traditions, like the annual road trip and the introduction of Majors, would come in following years. But the brotherhood has endured. And even though some of the names may change from time to time, all have given their all for glory, to hold to coveted cup and to earn the green jacket. |

The Keck Cup | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The competitive goal for members of the Tin Cup Tour has always been to win the season long points competition, and along with it, the cup. In 2020, we sadly lost one of our Founding Members and first ever champion, Jeremy Keck. He was always a joy to be around, and a ton of fun to play golf with. His perfectly consistent golf game was matched by his friendly demeanor. Jeremy was a true leader of the Tour, coming up with the idea for the Champions Dinner, saying we should have a classic celebration of the year that was and the champion to be crowned. In honor of Jeremy and in his memory, a new cup was commissioned in 2020 to become the forever trophy of the Tin Cup Tour. It shall always be known, as The Jeremy Keck Cup. |
