As with the Standard Format, each player will be paired with another player. This time, however, the pairs with not be competing directly against the other pair in the foursome but against every pair in the tournament. Each team of two will be given 1 pink ball, and 1 orange ball. The orange ball is a reserve and shall not be used until the pink ball is lost. In pink ball, each player plays their own ball for the entire hole, except that the pink ball alternates between players every hole. So player A has it on hole #1, player B has it on hole #2, player A has it on hole #3, etc. The team score is the total net score of both players combined (net double par per hole per player max). The pink ball shall be used until it is lost. Then the orange ball shall be the replacement until it is lost, then a regular white ball can be used. The winning team will be the team that still has a pink ball, and has the lowest score of any team who finished with a pink ball. If no such team exists, next will be any team with an orange ball and has the lowest score of any team who finished with the orange ball. Following that will be any remaining teams without a colored ball, with the lowest score being the best and on down.
